Abstract

Our proposal is to analyze a difference between Thomas Aquinas and Francis Suarez regarding the promulgation of the Eternal Law, which would allow the last one to represent an openness to modem juridical rationality. The aspect we believe acquires interest consists of, since the Doctor Eximius appears to us as a follower of Aquinas, analyzing very carefully every possible detachment of his from Thomas Aquinas, in order to properly establish the place of his thought.
