The intention of this paper is to analyze the positive contribution of emotions in practical reasoning according to Thomas Aquinas. The purpose is to demonstrate that the emotional sphere plays a fundamental role on the moral level as it has a defining influence on the correct understanding and perception that an individual, particularly a virtuous one, has of a given situation.References
