relativism, ethics, right, nature, Leo StraussAbstract
This paper analyzes the different forms of ethical relativism studied by Leo Strauss (liberal, positivist, historicist and existentialist) and then proceeds to synthesize Strauss's criticism of each. Similarly, it refers to the solution proposed by this thinker to the aporias of relativism, fundamentally a revaluation of the classical doctrine of natural right. The paper concludes with a general valuation of the question and of the proposed solution.References
