Thinking takes a great relevance in the late work of Martin Heidegger, in which his meditations covered a great number of letters, conferences and essays dedicated to the possibility of reflecting on being departing from the Western philosophical tradition. In this period appears Releasement, whose relevance lies in the attitude towards the technical era, based on the meditative thinking as opposed to the calculative one. It will be significant, in order to develop these considerations about this work, to pay special heed to the metaphoric and linguistic resources used by Heidegger, especially to the concept of autochthony, which reveals the possibility of meditative thinking nowadays and comes to enrich the reflection about the character of this thinking within Heidegger’s work.References
