In this paper we try to provide a clarification on the constitution of the aesthetic object from an analysis of this object in general (based on the phenomenological investigations of R. Ingarden) Then, we analyze the concrete case of The Waste Land with all its poetic richness and aesthetic values. In particular, we investigate how is given to our consciousness the aesthetic phenomenon ofthis literary work of art.
