Abstract

This text places itself within the framework of the well-know issue ofthe "import" of European philosophical thought into Latin America. On this occasion, we will attempt to approach it from the perspective of the concrete individuals who would have brought with them said philosophical world to Chile. The first aim will be to track down the thinkers from the Old World that, having arrived in Chile, had a weighty institutional influence, to the point where it is possible to speak of them in terms of their notorious participation in the history of philosophical thought in Chile. The second aim will be to show the instalation and the process of naturalization of a reigning eurocentrism in the Chilean philosophical context due to what has been stated.
