THE SACRIFICE OF MEANING ABOUT BATAILLE'S REWRITING OF HEGEL

Closely following Jacques Derrida's reading of Georges Bataille, in his article "From Restricted to General Economy: A Hegelianism without Reserve", published in Writing and Diference, we try to show that Bataille's thought develops itself by objecting Alexandre Kojéve's, particularly his well known thesis on the Phenomenology of Spirit. As he distances himself from Kojéve's anthropological view of spirit, Bataille will open his narrow anthropological circle.References
