conscience, court, mediationAbstract
In the first place, the article sheds light on current misunderstandings regarding conscience, particularly where it is understood as an oracle or a voice that works as a privileged source of moral knowledge, without rational mediation. Throngh a survey of philosophers that have described conscience using the image of a court, the article then tries a rehabilitation of neglected aspects of conscience.References
