Aunque el concepto de sensualitas hunde sus raíces en la Patrística, adquiere su significado técnico en el s. XII, y es usado por los autores más significativos del s. XIII, como Tomás de Aquino. En santo Tomás la sensualidad es claramente identificada con el apetito sensitivo considerado al margen de la influencia de la razón. Los actos de la sensualitas en cuanto tal son los primeros movimientos, cuya calificación moral es problemática.Downloads
