This study considers first the axiological superiority of the individual over the abstract. Therefore, a consideration of aristotelian metaphysics only as universality and without considering the value of the haecceitas, the individual here and now, assumes that the abstract is the highest value. This would be rather misguided and so is argued here that Duns Scotus has seen that not all individuality comes from matter, and in the case of personal beings is rather the person herself the principle of individuation. Also, from the point of view of values, will, and taking into account desires to individual, would be the highest faculty. So, love would be the most sublime form of action, because point to personal being in his most higher form, and in an eminent way, love to personal divine being. Therefore, higher than mere abstract knowledge.References
